Compliance and Risk Notice

Last updated: 24 September 2026

This notice is published for applicants, employers and advertising platforms. It states the scope and limits of HyreCrest's service and identifies the main risks associated with home-based work.

Scope of the service

HyreCrest publishes openings supplied by employers, receives applications from residents of Australia and refers applicants to those employers. HyreCrest does not employ applicants, operate a payroll or supervise work. Any working relationship is between the applicant and the employer.

Source of revenue

HyreCrest is paid by employers for advertising and referrals. No applicant is required to make any payment to HyreCrest at any stage.

Representations HyreCrest does not make

HyreCrest does not represent that any applicant will be engaged, that an opening remains available or that any level of income will result from applying. HyreCrest does not publish placement totals, success rates or ratings, as these cannot be independently verified. Any advertisement pairing such figures with the HyreCrest name should be reported so it can be corrected.

Payment requests

Legitimate employers do not require workers to pay in order to start. Do not pay any deposit, equipment charge, top-up, credit purchase or release fee, whoever requests it. Report the request to careers@hyrecrestly.com.

Written terms before commencement

Obtain from the employer, in writing, its legal name, a description of the work, the rate, the expected hours and the payment schedule. Written confirmation by WhatsApp is acceptable. If an employer declines to provide it, you are entitled to withdraw and inform HyreCrest.

Limits of verification

HyreCrest is not a regulator or auditor. HyreCrest establishes direct contact with each employer before publishing an opening, but it does not inspect workplaces, assess employer finances or supervise work after it begins. Openings found to be problematic are withdrawn.

Preparation of openings

Openings are based on employer-supplied information. HyreCrest does not invent pay figures, overstate duties or describe an opening as more certain than it is. Discrepancies between an opening and an advertisement are resolved by correcting the inaccurate item.

Personal information summary

The form collects name, email address, age, gender, nationality, country of residence and WhatsApp number. This information is provided to the selected employer and to the site's service providers and is retained for twelve months after last contact. The Privacy Policy contains full details.

Measurement and access control

Google Analytics (G-KW61F8MEDX) measures visits and form activity without receiving applicants' names or contact details. Access from certain countries is restricted using Cloudflare's country detection.

Age and right to work

The service is for adults. Verification of the right to work in Australia is the employer's responsibility.

Non-discrimination

Applications are forwarded as received. HyreCrest does not exclude applicants on the basis of gender, nationality or background; those fields are included at employers' request.

Employer expectations

Employers listing with HyreCrest are expected to describe openings accurately, notify closures promptly and pay workers directly.

Reporting and complaints

Reports about advertisements, messages or employers can be sent to careers@hyrecrestly.com, preferably with a screenshot. Each report is reviewed by a person, investigated and answered. This notice does not limit rights under the Australian Consumer Law or the Privacy Act 1988.
